Travel Support FAQ
Where do I collect my bus pass from and when?
Bus passes are ready for collection at the beginning of each term. You can collect your pass from Student Services at Hartford. At Winsford we are at reception which Monday to Friday 8.55am -1.30pm. For London Road students we arrange to attend site at the beginning of each term to distribute bus passes. We inform Tutors when the bus passes are available and this information is forwarded to students.
What happens if I lose my travel pass for the Warrington and Runcorn Bus?
If you loose your pass you will need to contact the Student Services office to arrange for a replacement. The cost of a replacement is £5.00. Once you have received your new pass your old pass will become invalid.
What happens if I lose my travel pass for Cheshire Integrated Transport Service bus routes?
If you lose your travel pass you will need to contact Integrated Transport Services to arrange for a replacement to be issued. There is a charge of £12.50 for each replacement. This can be paid by credit/debit card either by logging onto www.cheshire.gov.uk/schooltransport or by calling 0845 0020755.
Do I need to carry my pass every day?
Yes. You are required to carry your pass every day and it should be shown to the bus driver on every journey. Mid Cheshire College bus routes and Integrated Transport Service contract services are monitored and regular spot checks are undertaken. If you do not have a valid pass you WILL BE REFUSED TRAVEL.
What happens if I miss the bus?
All bus services will leave promptly and we ask that you are at your bus stop at least 5 minutes before departure time. If you miss the bus it is your own responsibility to make other arrangements.
