At Mid Cheshire College we are committed to
working towards a greener College environment.

We are part of the 10:10 scheme to cut 10% of our emissions in 2010, we are currently on target to achieve this by the end of the year. Click the banner for more information.
We are also supporters of the Carbon Trust. Please click the logo to visit their website.
What we are doing
As this page develops we will continue to add information on what we are doing to help the environment. Actions we have began to take so far include:
- Merchandise: Our College pens are now made from 80% Corn Starch and are biodegradeable.
- Smarter Driving Programme: Training our colleagues to drive more efficiently and use less emissions when travelling to work.
- Car-Share Scheme: Encouraging colleagues to share their car journeys to and from work to reduce our carbon footprint.
We also have composters on site and use recycling wherever we can. All proceeds received from recycling are given straight to our ASAP Charity. For more information on our ASAP Charity please click the logo below.
Focus Group
Mid Cheshire College now has a sustainability Focus Group. Do you have any ideas that would help us to further our greener outlook and cut emissions even further? Please email any suggestions to environment@midchesh.ac.uk, we will take any idea on board.
