Enrichment Week - October 2009

As part of the College's Enrichment programme, FESCo held, a Wheelchair Basketball session aimed at all students. Three professional sports coaches showed students how to use the 10 specialist wheelchairs that they had supplied. The event helped to promote a healthy way of living and eating, show ways in which, to stay active and, encouraged social inclusion.

The sessions gave students an insight into the skills needed to use a wheelchair and highlighted some challenges that, wheelchair users have on a day to day basis.
