Science
The College provides well equipped laboratories for science students, enabling them to gain skills and knowledge in a range of scientific techniques.
The laboratories contain a good range of analytical instruments, including infra-red and visible/ultraviolet spectrophotometry, gas chromatography, electrophoresis and general chromatography equipment.
The courses in Applied Science have proved extremely successful and rewarding as students gain valuable practical skills which are required in many scientific industries.
Careers in Science include: Science technician in, for example, research, medical laboratory analysis, quality control, education and chemical and pharmaceutical sciences.
