Performing Arts

The Performing Arts department offers an extensive range of state-of-the-art facilities within the college’s brand new £7.5 million Centre for Creative Arts and Sports, which includes a 200 seat theatre. Some of the specialist facilities include digital recording studios, midi sequencing suites, dance and drama studios and audio visual production suites.

Performing Arts career opportunities include: Musician, singer, songwriter, music teacher, DJ, studio engineer, actor in TV, film or theatre or choreography.

For students with no formal qualifications, Performing Arts is available as part of the Entry Level programme.

The College also has a fully operational commercial record label. Run by students, ‘Inclusive Records’ seeks to encourage, develop and promote musical talent within a creative, work-related environment.  Through the label, music students at Mid Cheshire can now write, record and release material on a range of digital media.
