![]() | John Reilly Principal John became the Principal of Mid Cheshire College in September 2002. Previously, he had been the Director of Development at Tameside College in East Manchester and had also worked, as a lecturer and manager, at colleges in Derbyshire, Birmingham and Leicestershire. Away from the College he is a member of the Cheshire & Warrington Connexions Board and is also a Trustee with the Lion Salt Works Trust. |
![]() | Richard Hollywood Richard joined the College in September 2006 as Assistant Principal for Art, Design & Performance Studies and was appointed to Vice Principal in February 2010. Prior to joining Mid-Cheshire, he worked for City College Manchester where he started as a part time lecturer in Music Technology and held a number of management positions including Head of Arts over a 12 year period. He spent his early years as a Sound Recording Engineer in one of London's top recording studios, working with a number of high profile artists and spent a short time in Australia working for ABC Radio. He has recently completed his MSc in Strategic Leadership & Change with MMU to add to his Post Graduate Diploma in FE Management and has lived in Cheshire since 1994 with his wife and 3 children. |
![]() | Wanda Ford Vice-Principal: Business Management Wanda joined Mid Cheshire College in 2001 having spent the previous six years working in higher education as a Head of Finance. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and has a social life that revolves around her children! |

| Kath Oldham Kath joined Mid Cheshire College in 1993 as a Lecturer in Tourism & Business Studies. Since then, she has managed a range of curriculum areas including Travel & Tourism, Modern Foreign Languages and ESOL. Kath was appointed to her current role in August 2006.She has a degree in Geography and has recently completed a Diploma in Management. |
![]() | Susan Treacy Susan joined the College in September 2007 from Runshaw College, Leyland where she worked as Head of Professional Development for five years. Previously, she had worked at West Cheshire College, which she joined in January 1994 as a part-time lecturer in Hospitality Management, before being promoted to Sector Head for Business & Information Technology. |
![]() | Maura Cummins Maura joined Mid Cheshire in September 2010 from Southport College where, over a 21 year period, she held a number of posts including Curriculum Leader and Teaching and Learning Advisor, Head of Faculty: Creative Industries and Head of 14-19 Development. Previously, she worked at Hugh Baird, St. Helens and Knowsley Colleges as a lecturer in Graphic Design & Art & Design and also as a freelance Designer. Her early career was spent as a Graphic Designer in London, having achieved a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design. Maura lives in Liverpool with her two children. |

| Elaine Andrews Elaine has been at Mid Cheshire College in a variety of Student Recruitment roles since April 2000. These have included both Admissions and Marketing. She completed her Diploma in Management Studies in June and was appointed Student Recruitment Manager in September 2008. |
![]() | Sheila Atherton Sheila joined the College in September 2002 after previously working as the Finance Manager at South Trafford College. She is ACMA qualified with over 13 years post-qualification experience. This has been gained from a number of roles within the finance function in both the public and private sectors. |
![]() | Nigel Colley A professionally qualified safety practitioner, Nigel joined the College in 2009 as their Health and Safety Officer before applying for his current role two years later. Nigel’s background is firmly in the private sector, having worked for both small companies and a FTSE250 public limited company, with experience in Facilities Management, Construction and Casinos, he is also a qualified food hygienist. Married with two teenage children his favourite relaxation is playing the guitar - badly. |
![]() | Kevin Gallimore Kevin joined the College in 1993 having previously worked for British Aerospace. He has worked in the HR profession for over 25 years and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. At Mid Cheshire College he is responsible for the overall management of both Human Resources & IT systems. Away from work he travels extensively and skis regularly. |
![]() | Simon Hannett Simon joined the College in July 2010, having previously spent 9 years working in MIS at a number of Colleges in the North West. Prior to this he earned his living as a residential social worker, working primarily with emotionally and behaviourally disturbed students who had been excluded from mainstream education. Outside of work Simon tries to pretend he is not getting older and slower by throwing himself into a range of activities, aided and abetted by his young daughter. |
![]() | David James David has been at Mid Cheshire College in a variety of roles since 1988, which have included managing Hospitality courses, overseeing the College Catering Operation and managing the Quality Unit. He was appointed to his current position in September 2003 |
| Karen Rough Karen joined the College in September 1997 as a 3D Workshop Supervisor and part time lecturer before being promoted to Sector Manager in Art & Design and was appointed to Quality Improvement Manager in January 2010. Prior to joining Mid-Cheshire, she was a practicing Ceramic Artist and completed her MA in Ceramics and Management in September 1997. Originally from Portsmouth, Karen moved to Stoke on Trent in 1993 to study for a BA (Hons) in Ceramic Design. |
![]() | Carole Timperley Carole joined Mid Cheshire College in May 2008 to head up the Employer Services unit and lead on all aspects of work-based learning and employer engagement. Prior to joining the College, Carole worked in the private sector for large national work-based learning providers after a period with the Learning & Skills Council, therefore bringing several years experience of Apprenticeships and Train to Gain programmes. |
