Apprenticeships give you the chance to earn while you learn.
First you’ll need to decide which career suits you best; there are lots to choose from. You’ll work full-time for your employer and may attend Mid Cheshire College one day per week, studying for a qualification in the area of work you have chosen.
As a first step you should register on the vacancy matching website at http://www.apprenticeships.org.uk and you will have an opportunity to look at vacancies from employers.
Our Employer Services team will also advise on employment options.
The top 5 tips for finding a job:
1. Register on the vacancy matching website
2. Keep your CV up to date
3. Try to find a part-time job in your area of interest
4. Write to local employers to see if they are taking apprentices
5. Check the Mid Cheshire College website and notice board for job opportunities
Apprenticeships are open to anyone aged over 16 in England who is leaving or has already left full-time education.
