Apprenticeships

Click here to find out about IT Technician Apprenticeship opportunities with Barclays Bank

Apprenticeships can make your organisation more effective, competent, productive and competitive by addressing your skills gaps. Government-funded Apprenticeships are available to both new and current, employees aged between 16 and 24.

An Apprentice's training is on-the-job at your premises. The rest is provided by Mid-Cheshire College typically on a one day per week basis to study for a Technical Certificate which will provide technical knowledge and skills required. An assessor from Mid-Cheshire College will visit your apprentice on a regular basis to gather evidence for their NVQ portfolio. In addition, apprentices will also study some Key Skills relevant to job knowledge in subjects such as Communication, Application of Number and IT.
